Callum Wilson has returned to the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Newcastle striker Wilson missed out on selection for Gareth Southgate’s squad last time out with injury but is included for the games against Malta and North Macedonia.
The injured pair of Manchester City defender John Stones and Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah are the only other changes from the squad for the wins over Australia and Italy last month.
There is again no place for Raheem Sterling or James Ward-Prowse while the likes of in-form Anthony Gordon and Cole Palmer have also been overlooked.
Wilson has scored seven goals in the Premier League with Jarrod Bowen of West Ham, who matches in him in the scoring charts, is also included.
England play Malta at Wembley on Friday, November 17 before travelling to North Macedonia to round out their qualification campaign on the following Monday.
England have already qualified for the European Championships with two games to spare and, following the qualifiers later this month, will next be in action in March.
The Football Association announced the men’s side will play a pair of friendlies against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley.
