BREAKING: Michigan State has served notice to Mel Tucker that they plan to fire him for cause

Following the aftermath of a highly publicized sexual harassment investigation that was well-documented by USA TODAY, Michigan State revealed on Monday that they have officially given notice to MSU football head coach Mel Tucker that they plan to fire him for cause.

MSU athletic director and Vice President Alan Haller released a statement regarding Tucker’ employment status on Monday, which you can read below:

According to the statement, Tucker will have seven days to respond and present reasons why he should not be terminated for cause.

Unless something incredibly surprising happens, this signals the end of the Mel Tucker era at Michigan State.
