BABEL FAIR SHOWROOM WANTS A JUNIOR SALES EXECUTIVE, INDEPENDENT RETAILERS INSIDE NEW YORK, NY (Hybrid remote)

Babel Fair showroom seeks a junior sales executive who is able to work in a fast-paced, small business environment. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in wholesale fashion sales. This job is very sales-oriented and requires the candidate to be motivated and able achieve sales goals. It is important to be able maintain and build good working relationships with retailers.

Responsibilities

* Keep and acquire boutique/independent wholesale accounts

* Ability to achieve sales goals

* Report on weekly and annual sales

* Sample management, including hanging, steaming and packing samples.

Assist with the logistics of wholesale marketing

* Set up and initiate showroom appointments

* Open to traveling to meet retailers

* Attend major regional and national tradeshows

Experience/Qualifications needed

* Minimum 1+ years of experience in fashion wholesale sales

* Basic knowledge of Excel, MS Word and Powerpoint

* Excellent email/phone communication skills

* Follow up and organizational skills

* Driver’s licence

* A plus is knowledge of Showroom Exchange and NuOrder, Squarespace and Canva, as well as email marketing programs (MailChimp, Constant Contact).

Salary: $45-$50k plus health, dental, vision
