AmTrust RE, a national real estate owner-developer of commercial, mixed-use, and residential properties, today announced the completion of a 5,467-square-foot lease transaction with Worldwide TechServices at 250 Broadway, a 648,000-square-foot office property in Lower Manhattan. Anne Holker, AmTrust RE’s Managing Director of Leasing and Acquisitions, represented both parties in the transaction.

Located directly across the street from City Hall Park, 250 Broadway offers companies an ideal headquarters location with access to a wealth of transportation options. The property’s recently remodeled lobby features significant improvements including modern finishes and an expanded floor area to accommodate increased foot traffic.

“Amidst increased office attendance and a flight to quality across the office sector, 250 Broadway is experiencing an uptick in interest from companies across the public and private sectors,” said Jonathan Bennett, President of AmTrust RE. “With its revamped lobby and suite of amenities, the property continues to meet the demands of today’s workforce, and we’re thrilled to welcome Worldwide TechServices as our newest tenant. We look forward to continuing our efforts to create commercial spaces where professionals and companies can thrive.”

Worldwide TechServices is a global IT services and consulting company, providing clients with innovative, high-quality IT solutions, including top-level strategy, managed services and infrastructure support, compliance, privacy, and security. In 2019, the company expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of American Technology Services. Worldwide TechServices’ recent marquee projects include the development of Pace University’s dedicated Esports arena. Located a few blocks from 250 Broadway, the state-of-the-art space and corresponding Esports program aim to propel the future of gaming through curricular and vocational pathways.

“Worldwide TechServices is a true leader in the tech space with global partners and a wide range of innovative solutions that continue to improve processes for clients across real estate and other  industries,” said Bennett.

Worldwide TechServices joins 250 Broadway’s impressive tenant roster, which includes law firm Gannon, Rosenfarb & Drossman; the New York City Council; New York City Housing Authority; New York State Assembly; New York State Senate; and prominent full-service law firm Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, which moved into the property earlier this year.

A leading commercial property owner, AmTrust RE’s portfolio of properties in New York City includes 59 Maiden Lane, a 43-story office tower in Downtown Manhattan; 203 Jay Street, an eight-story commercial building at the nexus of DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn and Brooklyn Heights, which offers a selection of new, furnished office suites and retail space; and The Amberly, an adjoining 33-story luxury residential tower.
