CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team has uncovered video of yet another dirt bike takeover. See what we found to be different this time.
Security cameras captured the scene on Sunday evening on Cleveland’s west side. A big crowd of dirt bikes moved through side streets off West 94th Street.
Dirt bikes barreled down Lorain Avenue, even on the wrong side of the road, nearly hitting traffic head-on and causing crashes.

For years, many of you have complained, saying Cleveland police are not doing enough to stop the dirt bikes.
This time, Cuyahoga County dispatch told us no 911 calls came in from a cell phone.
In the meantime, Cleveland police could not immediately tell us if anyone was arrested.
During the last big dirt bike takeover, the only rider arrested had lost control in front of officers.
Dominic Smith has pleaded not guilty and his case is still moving through court.

Officers and some city council members have told us they have found more and more people are deciding not to call the police. Many of them don’t think police will respond quickly enough or take action.
